SoTalent is seeking a Portfolio Manager – PMO & Data Intelligence to lead strategic alignment and execution of a large-scale capital project portfolio. This role involves managing resources, optimizing processes, and ensuring that capital investments deliver maximum business value while adhering to governance and financial standards.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain portfolio scope, objectives, and success criteria aligned to enterprise strategy

Establish and manage capital control totals and consolidate project demand across portfolios

Lead portfolio prioritization based on business value, risk, and strategic alignment

Ensure accurate project setup and maintenance within portfolio management systems (Planview)

Perform portfolio leveling to ensure financial and resource capacity supports execution

Proactively manage portfolio performance against approved spend plans

Lead regular portfolio reviews to assess progress and reprioritize initiatives as required

Establish and track KPIs for cost, schedule, risk, and benefits realization

Partner with project leaders to identify risks, develop mitigation and recovery plans, and escalate issues

Recommend project timing and sequencing adjustments to meet annual capital targets

Prepare consolidated executive dashboards and reporting on portfolio health

Allocate and optimize resources across the portfolio to balance demand and capacity

Partner with Operations Engineering to understand resource availability and capability

Lead and support capital planning, budgeting, and multi-year forecasting

Manage monthly financial variances and collaborate with Finance on cost analysis and economic justification

Act as the primary liaison across Business Units, Operations Engineering, Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders

Drive governance forums, project approvals, and vendor evaluations

Contribute to PMO standards, tools, and templates, ensuring consistent adoption

Promote best practices and continuous improvement in PMO maturity and delivery outcomes
