HR Director
Ignite Human Capital is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Human Resources to serve as a key member of the leadership team and trusted advisor to the CEO. This role will lead the full HR function, ensuring alignment between people strategy and business objectives while enhancing culture and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals
Serve as a thought partner on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development
Translate business priorities into effective people initiatives that drive performance and engagement
Lead all core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, performance management, total rewards, and HR systems
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Assess, refine, and scale HR policies, programs, and processes as the organization evolves
Own end-to-end talent strategy including recruiting, onboarding, development, and succession planning
Coach leaders on performance management, employee relations, and team effectiveness
Build leadership capability through development programs and feedback mechanisms
Champion a strong, values-driven culture that supports accountability, inclusion, and engagement
Act as a trusted advisor on sensitive and complex employee matters
Lead initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience and retention
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering a high-performing and service-oriented function
Establish clear goals, accountability, and professional development pathways for HR staff
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility
Demonstrated experience partnering directly with CEOs and executive leadership teams
Strong background in employee relations, compliance, and organizational development
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
High degree of judgment, discretion, and executive-level communication capability
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
advanced degree and/or HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
