Responsibilities

Collaborate with the BI team to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms

Create interactive and user-friendly reports and dashboards to present data-driven insights to stakeholders

Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions

Creating and optimizing data models to support efficient data analysis and reporting

Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from various databases/data sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability

Build a comprehensive understanding of data sources utilized for reporting, and actively identify areas of improvement in existing reporting processes, contributing innovative solutions to address identified gaps

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven solutions to support their decision-making processes

Act as a liaison between the Data Analytics team and other departments, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa

Regularly audit existing data pipelines and reports to reflect changes in data and business KPI

Identify and resolve issues related to data quality, data pipelines, report accuracy, and performance

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in business intelligence and data analytics

Maintain clear and concise documentation for developed BI solutions, including data models and report specifications

Required

Proven experience (8+ years) as a Business Intelligence Developer or in a similar role

Excellent in data analysis / visualization tools (i.e., Looker, LookML, Tableau, Power BI, Presto SQL) to develop front-end reports to meet the needs of end-users in a user-friendly way

Deep understanding of data architecture, schema design, and dimensional modeling for analytics and machine learning

Very strong SQL skills and ability to write efficient queries for data retrieval and analysis

Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights effectively

Agility to navigate through ambiguity - comfortable with proposing new processes when gaps are present

Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently present to executive audiences, lead discussions, and distill complex information into clear concise communications

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Fluent in Microsoft and/or Google productivity software
