This role offers law students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in drafting contracts, conducting legal research, and collaborating with various departments within Disney Theatrical Group.

Responsibilities

Assisting with drafting contracts and responding to and/or discussing comments with attorneys

Updating and creating new databases of deal summaries

Conducting research relating to contract and deal precedents

Creating a library of template contract provisions and template contracts

Liaising with other Disney legal departments throughout the company to gather information and assist department members’ legal analysis

Preferred

Coursework in copyright, entertainment business, entertainment law or other intellectual property areas, a plus

Interest in entertainment business or entertainment law, especially theatre, a plus
