This role involves assisting with business planning, regulatory activities, and financial analysis by collaborating with internal teams and analyzing financial data to support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities
Support regulatory filings by assisting with schedules and responses to discovery requests
Extract data from SAP, run reports, perform downloads, and analyze large datasets using Excel
Perform variance analysis and ad-hoc financial reporting
Assist with annual cost planning related to O&M and capital expenditures
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entry support
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to analyze results and identify efficiency or cost-saving opportunities
Support improvements to the SAP CO module and assist with implementation of new billing methodologies
Prepare reports and analyses requested by internal stakeholders
Interact with various departments to obtain data explanations and clarify financial results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field preferred
0–2 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Strong analytical skills with comfort working with large and complex datasets
Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn SAP (experience with SAP ECC is a plus but not required)
Accounting background not required, but role will work closely with accounting teams
Preferred
Knowledge of capital spending or cost analysis is a plus but not required
Industry experience is helpful but not required
