Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Formulate store strategy in liaison with Regional Head, aligning with corporate objectives
Develop sales plans and operational procedures to meet business goals and enhance customer satisfaction
Ensure efficiency, quality improvements, and cost optimization through benchmarking and best practices
Assist in determining product mix (Gold, Diamond, Precious, Sub-Brands) based on market trends and periodic reviews
Driving specific categories such as bridal collections and specialization services to customize jewellery pieces as per individual preferences
Drive sales strategy in coordination with sales staff to achieve store targets
Monitor and analyze sales data, implement corrective actions to boost performance
Collaborate with Corporate & Regional Marketing teams to prepare annual marketing plans and showroom-specific input
Engage high-profile and regular customers through personalized visits and marketing initiatives to increase footfall
Loyalty program & high value transaction management to drive repeat business and increase sales
Monitor daily stock levels; ensure timely replenishment based on sales and customer preferences
Participate in product selection meetings to align offerings with prevailing trends and customer demand
Assess ageing stock and implement measures to eliminate slow-moving or dead stock
Ensure old gold exchange, management and purchases to comply with company policy and maintain accurate daily stock tallies
Inventory valuation of precious metals and accounting periodically
Ensure adherence to SOPs and implement process improvement initiatives for cost savings
Oversee financial transactions, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and statutory requirements
Maintain system-generated reports using POS software and Microsoft AX systems; ensure regular checks for accuracy
Establish reporting and reviewing mechanisms to track operational performance and initiate corrective actions
Ensure adequate staffing as per showroom manpower matrix; cascade duties and monitor performance
Drive a performance-driven culture through timely reviews, feedback, and engagement initiatives
Support employee development, motivation, and building capability
Ensure staff adherence to Code of Conduct, including attendance, dress code, confidentiality, and workplace regulations
