Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within Large, Direct Accounts
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing of key business
Develop and execute account strategies aligned with company revenue targets and market expansion goals
Present and demonstrate IoT solutions (hardware, software, platforms, analytics) tailored to Enterprise-level use cases
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Direct account base
Serve as the primary commercial contact for strategic National accounts that HMS will manage directly
Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies and identify emerging opportunities
Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure customer feedback informs roadmap priorities
Represent the company at key industry events, and conferences
Develop accurate sales forecasts and maintain CRM records
Contribute to the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and pricing strategies
Track performance metrics to ensure sales targets and KPIs are met or exceeded

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in Direct account management within industrial technology environments
Proven track record selling complex solutions (IoT, SaaS, digital twin, SCADA, or automation systems)
Strong understanding of the Industrial project lifecycle and procurement processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Preferred

Experience with IoT platforms, connectivity solutions, or industrial digitalization projects
Network of existing relationships within Large End Users or industrial verticals (energy, oil & gas, utilities, construction, manufacturing)
MBA or advanced technical degree
