Cybersecurity Customer Trust & Assurance Consultant

They are seeking a highly motivated contractor to join their Customer Trust and Assurance team, primarily responsible for responding to security-related Requests for Information (RFIs) and showcasing the organization's security posture to customers.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer security RFIs, questionnaires, and due diligence requests related to the organization's security, privacy, and compliance posture
Collaborate with internal to gather and validate responses
Leverage and support update of central repository of answers to streamline response times and ensure consistency across responses
Interpret and communicate technical concepts to non-technical customer audiences in a clear and concise manner
Support ad hoc customer trust and assurance projects, including audits, certifications, and process improvements
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all responses, tracking customer deadlines and response status

Required

5+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related technical field
Experience with customer relationship/responses and/or sales related pursuits
Strong understanding of core security concepts (e.g., access controls, encryption, risk management, security frameworks)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly
Proven experience working with customer trust, assurance, security questionnaires, or security documentation
must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future
Fluency in French and residency in Europe are required

Preferred

Experience responding to RFIs, or other industry-standard questionnaires
Familiarity with security and privacy frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, GDPR, etc
Background in SaaS, cloud security, or product security is a plus
Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, or customer support ticketing systems
Strong organizational skills and experience working cross-functionally
