Responsibilities

Communicate effectively - both verbally and written - to peers and business partners to include strong questioning and listening skills and the ability to look beyond obvious answers to understand impacts
Interview business counterparts to effectively draw out and articulate the business need/problem/ opportunity to be addressed. Provide scaled options for implementation based on the business need
Gather and analyze requirements. Organize and document business needs to enable design and development, including elicitation and documentation of current state and future state workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping and UI wireframes
Lead and influence cross-functional teams
Facilitate and derive consensus towards the target operating model and data/business related policies
Provide consultation to development team and product owner for business facing application enhancements

Required

Bachelor's degree required
A minimum of 7 years of experience, and minimum of 5 years experience in Business Analysis
Strong experience in querying, mapping and documenting data
Demonstrated ability to articulate customized solutions to meet business requirements
Experience working with Agile/Lean/Kanban software development processes
Advanced skills using a variety of tools to document workflows and data mapping including but not limited to Excel and Lucid
Understanding of analysis and documentation goals throughout the project lifecycle
Ability to facilitate decision making through workshops
Ability to learn quickly and work in a changing environment and under tight deadlines
Ability to independently manage personal timelines and meet tight deadlines
Ability to successfully manage and coordinate simultaneous project deliverables across groups and teams
Strong experience with SQL, Excel, Lucid, Jira, Tableau, Agile

Preferred

Senior Technical BA's preferably with financial services background to perform user research, deep dive analysis, business requirements, UAT testing, manage meeting
Financial services is a must (assets and fixed income would be nice to have)
Self starter, work with development teams to help figure out what solutions look like, communicating with stakeholders
SQL is a must have, excel, snowflake is nice to have
Both roles are data intense but 2nd one is more about reporting (business conversations, building out end to end platforms, vendor purchase applications)
