Responsibilities

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
System Engineers are responsible for reviewing the System Test Requirements provided by Contract Specification and Engineering Department, gathering equipment and system performance specifications for each construction contract and incorporating those specifications into a structured test philosophy and approach and providing Operational Test with Test Instructions and Procedures that adequately demonstrate the equipment and system performance to the External Customer that complies with the specifications/contract
System Engineers identify test documents required to be developed (Test Index) and preparing and writing the Test Procedure (TP)
The System Engineer utilizes the application of control processes (problem reporting), which are necessary in order to ensure quality feedback and the maintenance of records reflect Test Verification Records (Test Reports) are in compliance with contract specifications, Quality Management and test requirements

Required

5 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field
3 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree
US Citizenship Required for this Position
