Responsibilities
Develop and advocate for the long-term strategic vision for systems and memory that secures Google's technological advantage
Architect complex, multiyear agreements that shape Google's long-term partnerships with critical suppliers
Establish the vision for supplier relationship management. Scan external environments for emerging trends that drive dramatic improvements in supplier quality
Direct the function's commercial and financial analysis to guide strategic decisions. Lead development, documentation, and implementation of standardized sourcing and supplier relationship management methodologies, tools, and processes
Drive executive-level alignment with senior leadership across engineering, quality, and supply chain
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
20 years of experience managing budgets across hardware commodities
15 years of industry experience in two or more of the following disciplines: engineering/engineering management, project management, supply chain management, commodity management
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering or MBA
Experience working in complex end-to-end (plan/NPI/source/make/deliver/PLM) supply chains
