White Bear Lake Area Schools is seeking a Freedom Schools Servant Leader Intern for their Summer Learning program. The role involves providing teaching services and implementing the curriculum for K-5 students, while supporting diverse learning styles and fostering community involvement.

Education Management

Responsibilities

Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services with the planning and implementation of the Freedom Schools Summer Learning program curriculum which provides services to youth with diverse interests, talents, perspectives, and learning styles while supporting appropriate conduct, speech and attire
Assists students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned
Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Freedom School Site Coordinators and Freedom School Executive/Program Director
Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer
