Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications based on defined requirements
Write, modify, and debug code using one or more supported programming languages
Collaborate with analysts, developers, and other IT staff to implement technical solutions
Participate in system and application testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Maintain documentation for application code, configurations, and technical procedures
Support deployment, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of software applications
Follow established coding standards, security guidelines, and development best practices
Qualification
Required
Four-year degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related Information Technology (IT) role
Experience programming in one or more of the following languages or technologies: C++; Java / J2EE; Visual Basic; .NET; HTML / XML; PowerBuilder; Delphi
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) concepts and methodologies
Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher
Preferred
Experience developing or supporting business or enterprise applications
Familiarity with databases and basic SQL concepts
Experience working in a team-based development environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
