They are seeking an attorney to serve as Corporate Counsel, focusing on commercial real estate legal matters across their national medical office portfolio and providing legal support to the Company’s acquisitions, development, and leasing activities.

Responsibilities

Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial leases, partnering closely with Asset Management and collaborating with outside leasing counsel as appropriate

Manage and execute legal instruments supporting the property management platform, including service agreements, access and use licenses, lease amendments, and tenant improvement construction agreements

Ensure compliance with all legal obligations applicable to the Company and its managed assets, including title matters, ground leases, tenant agreements, and vendor contracts

Support the Company’s acquisitions and development platforms by providing legal analysis and transactional support as needed

Assist with transaction closings related to financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and securities offerings in coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors

Create, maintain, and ensure compliance for legal entities, including drafting and adapting organizational documents using established templates

Support broader corporate and operational legal priorities and interface with state and federal agencies and regulators as necessary
