Architectural Project Manager
Career Collective is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Architect to lead projects and mentor staff across all phases, particularly in the education, civic, and higher-ed sectors. The role involves overseeing design, documentation, and construction administration while maintaining high levels of design quality and technical accuracy.
Responsibilities
Lead multi-phase projects, particularly in education, civic, and higher-ed sectors
Oversee design, documentation, and construction administration
Coordinate closely with contractors to manage RFIs, shop drawings, and site visits
Prepare fee proposals, schedules, staffing plans, and contracts
Use tools such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Procore
Support pursuit strategies, proposal development, and interview preparation
Maintain high levels of design quality, technical accuracy, and project performance
Qualification
Required
Licensed Architect (NCARB required)
Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch) or approved licensure path
10–15 years of architectural experience, including 5+ years in a Senior PM role
Strong ability to lead teams and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders
Skilled in navigating multiple deadlines while maintaining consistency and quality
Strong writing, presentation, and coordination skills
Preferred
Experience managing publicly funded projects is highly preferred
Established network within K–12, higher-ed, civic, or community college sectors
AIA, CSI, LEED AP, WELL AP, CPTED (not required but encouraged)
