Responsibilities

Serve as Deputy to the Logistics Project Manager (LPM) for Ship Controls
Lead the Global Sustainment Spares and Repairs proposal effort for LHA and DDG-51 Engine Controller and Machinery Control Systems
Lead the Global Sustainment Spares, Repairs and Warranty management effort for LHA and DDG-51 Engine Controller and Machinery Control Systems
Ensure 100% on time delivery
Interface with DDG-51 Spares and Repairs customers during monthly meetings
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups as a representative of the LPM
Assist in the development of FFP, NTE and ROM proposals: providing inputs for Basis of Estimates (BOEs), assisting in obtaining material quotes and subcontractor Statements of Work (SOWs), leading proposal kick-off packages and Executive Planning Panels (EPPs)
Support the AIMS Global Sustainment Material Lead in the following:
Manage the process for material replenishment by running and analyzing usage reports, developing replenishment lists and working with the sourcing and subcontracts organization to obtain quotes on material
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups as a representative of the Global Sustainment Material Lead
Interact with finance and pricing to ensure development and submittal of proper cost estimates for proposals and ROMs
Oversee the procurement, receipt, tracking and delivery of all required material for assigned projects; identify and help expedite urgently needed material as necessary
Assist in providing timely and accurate project status for use in monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting
Assist in providing hours estimates for periodic manpower planning (Vemo)
Assist in the development and submittal of Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) for material cost accounts
Oversee the development and delivery of material-related Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and other material deliveries
Support the development of Program of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and program schedules
Support 1LMX sustainment capability deployment in supported program(s)

Preferred

Experience working in a cross-functional organization with Finance, Program Management, Sourcing, etc
Familiarity with developing Basis of Estimate (BOE) and general proposal support
Familiarity with developing material requirements, purchase and replenishment lists; procuring and tracking material
Experience developing material requirements, purchase and replenishment lists; procuring and tracking material
Experience developing and delivering CDRLs or other customer deliverables
Working knowledge of LM Purchasing processes and tools (e.g.P2P) and Inventory Control Systems (e.g. Maximo)
Familiarity with LM Basis of Estimate (BOE) and Bill of Materials (BOM) processes
Familiarity with the principals of Earned Value Management (EVM) and manpower planning (Vemo)
