First Merchants Bank is seeking an Escrow Loan Servicing Specialist to join their team. This role involves managing escrow accounts for commercial and consumer loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to the loan sales team.

Responsibilities

Support the commercial and consumer loan sales team by extending the FMB mission through responsiveness to internal business partner phone calls, emails, and other communication request methods in a professional, thorough, accurate and timely manner

Manage escrow accounts for commercial and consumer loans including the collection and disbursement of taxes, insurance premiums, and other required fees related to escrow

Complete commercial and consumer loan maintenance submitted via workflow to the escrow queue or other authorized channels escalating the issue or resolution when necessary. This would include escrow payments

Work with third party vendors to manage escrow such as Lereta, Miniter, Hub, insurance agents, taxing authorities, ect

Assist with testing Core Processing system enhancements

Open and maintain escrow accounts including preparing and reviewing escrow statements, reconciling escrow, processing surplus refunds, reporting, etc

Participate in special assignments as assigned
