This role is essential in overseeing and strengthening the accounting function across a growing, multi-entity automotive organization, focusing on restructuring the centralized accounting office and supporting the company's expansion into OEM operations.

Responsibilities
Oversee accounting operations across multiple business lines
Lead and restructure the centralized accounting office to improve workflows, organization, and efficiency
Manage and support a team of 6 in the centralized accounting office
Review financial statements and reports prior to submission to executive leadership
This role will not submit financials directly to OEMs - The financials will be reviewed and forwarded to the COO
Ensure timely and accurate month end close across all entities
Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Partner with leadership to support acquisitions, integrations, and future growth initiatives
Maintain a high level of organization and visibility across all financial operations
Qualification
Required
Strong multi-entity automotive accounting experience
Proven leadership experience managing centralized accounting teams
Highly organized with the ability to restructure and scale accounting operations
Comfortable in a fast-moving, growth oriented environment
Local to the College Point, NY area and able to work on-site full time
