Responsibilities

Leverage your life science expertise to identify market opportunities by qualifying pharmaceutical and biotech accounts, and crafting a strategic plan to achieve targets
Build relationships with current key clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of account dynamics
Engage with client stakeholders to evaluate and offer solutions to to current challenges that expand our business
Continue to build cross-functional relationships with current key clients to achieve ambitious sales targets
Lead the entire sales process, from initial contact and platform demo to contract finalization
Enhance market strategy by tracking competitor products and gathering field intelligence
Drive revenue growth by forecasting, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales
Document and manage all sales activities using a web-based CRM system
Create proposals and negotiate terms and conditions with clients
Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders across various product areas to share client feedback and requirements
Play a key role in developing company sales objectives and achieving goals through innovative and effective methods

Required

7+ years of sales experience or consulting experience working with pharmaceutical companies in Clinical Research with a demonstrated understanding of drug development processes and technologies
Consultative sales professional with SaaS experience preferred
Experience in researching and discovering customer needs and building a need for current and future products
Knowledge of clinical trials and drug development processes
Demonstrated experience selling into Enterprise pharma and/or biotech companies
Experience in Consulting or Customer Success
Excellent team player with demonstrated track record of success in a cross-functional team environment
Consistent commitment to delivering on team goals with a sense of shared urgency
Travel will be required up to 50% of the time
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills - hunter mentality
Strong attention to details and ability to triage and aid in resolution of escalations
Team player with ability to work independently; ability to adjust to changing priorities
Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong business planning and problem solving skills
Goal-oriented
Ability to project and maintain a professional and positive attitude

Preferred

Consultative sales professional with SaaS experience preferred
Preferred locations: California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey
