The role involves supporting regional and global sourcing initiatives, communicating with vendors on commercial aspects, and ensuring alignment with corporate purchasing policies.

Responsibilities

Execute strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier reliability for products and materials

Local Sourcing Plans: Design and implement effective local sourcing strategies to achieve business targets and future requirements

Cost Reduction Initiatives: Lead cost-saving projects to meet budget requirements and maintain competitive pricing for ABB Robotics products

Tariff Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to minimize the impact of tariffs through supplier diversification, regional sourcing, and cost optimization initiatives

Procurement Standards: Apply and maintain procurement tools, processes, and standards to ensure compliance and performance in quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability

Global & Local Alignment: Collaborate with global and local category teams to ensure sourcing strategies meet business needs

Required

Bachelor's degree is required

5+ years experience with procurement sourcing, new vendors launch, local sourcing for tariff tasks related, new project introduction to the USA factory

Previous experience in technical sourcing, mechanical procurement in global companies

Focus on Supply Chain preferred

Preferred working experience with SAP or other equivalent ERP systems
