Facilities Technician
American Repair Maintenance is a stable, growing national facilities maintenance company supporting over 20,000 retail locations across the U.S. They are seeking an experienced commercial technician who enjoys autonomy and variety while traveling regionally. The role involves completing maintenance and repair work across multiple trades and managing service tickets independently within a designated territory.
Responsibilities
Complete commercial maintenance and repair work across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, etc.)
Manage service tickets independently within a designated territory
Serve as a professional, trusted on-site representative for ARM clients
Document work clearly using mobile apps and service software
Communicate proactively with supervisors and dispatch on job status
Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards
Travel to client locations approximately 500 to 2,000 miles per week with mileage reimbursement
Qualification
Required
5+ years of commercial facilities or maintenance experience
Hands-on experience across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, masonry, etc.)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to travel regionally (some overnight and weekend work required)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Comfortable using mobile apps and digital work order systems
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical work safely
Preferred
General contractor or trade license (electrical, welding, etc.)
Retail or multi-site facilities experience
Advanced structural, EIFS, or welding experience
