Responsibilities
Prepares accurate and detailed estimates for electrical construction projects, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors
Utilize Accubid Classic or Accubid Anywhere software to streamline the estimation process and ensure precision in cost calculations
Develop comprehensive bid proposals that include the scope of work, project timelines, and cost breakdowns, aligning with client requirements
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimations
Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to enhance the accuracy of estimations
Maintain organized and detailed records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
Engage with clients to understand their needs and address any queries regarding project estimates
Collaborate with project teams to assess and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years in electrical construction estimating
Proficient in Accubid Classic or Accubid Anywhere software
Solid understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex estimation challenges
Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates and bids
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Able to manage small, single-discipline projects, with additional supervision as needed
