IAT Insurance Group is the largest private, family-owned property and casualty insurer in the U.S. They are seeking an Associate Account Manager to provide day-to-day customer service and support to underwriters while acting as a liaison between the organization and agents.

Responsibilities

Enters new and renewal business into proprietary rating systems

Prepares account service-related documents and other client communications and correspondence

Processes renewals, reviewing for accuracy and making requested renewal changes

Processes endorsements and audit transactions through communication with agents and underwriters

Processes non-renewals and cancellations

Reviews all company correspondence to ensure applicability to client needs

Maintains bond/account files in accordance with established procedures

Establishes and maintains good working relationships with underwriters and agents

Answers and processes internal information requests

Improves/refines professional skills through continuing education and maintaining familiarity with industry trends and standards

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of relevant professional experience

Basic mathematics and problem-solving ability

Strong keyboarding skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills used for interaction with all levels of associates and/or external sources in a variety of settings

Strong PC skills required

Must be detail and action oriented

Ability to work in fast-paced and deadline-driven production environment

Strong critical thinking skills

Strong organizational skills with ability to set and maintain priorities

Ability to adapt to change
