Responsibilities
New feature test design for networking devices, surveillance products and the cloud management platform
Design, build, and maintain Testbed infrastructure, triage Automated regression failures and provide failure analysis to certify software releases
Review the requirements, specifications and test plans and provide feedback from a testing perspective
Write clear procedures, bug descriptions and test reports
Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and debug issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Basic knowledge of Radius, VLAN technologies, 802.1x, Captive portal
Understanding of networking architecture such as Routing/Switching (OSPF / BGP /IS-IS), IP, TCP/UDP, and application layers such as HTTP, SNMP, etc
Understanding of security products & technologies like Firewall, NAT, IPS, and VPN
Ability to write quality code (automation test code) with Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Ruby
Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively collaborate with different teams
Preferred
Experience testing network products or Camera/NVR is a plus
Experience with SDN system or surveillance system testing is a plus
Experience with Cloud performance testing is a plus
Experience with software development is a plus
Experience with a large-scale enterprise network deployment is a plus
