Responsibilities
Software Deployment & Updates
Package, test, and deploy applications and updates across enterprise environments
Automate software installations and patching using MECM, Intune or 3 rd party tools (ManageEngine)
Set up and manage Software Center portal
Operating System Deployment (OSD)
Create and maintain task sequences for Windows OS
Manage driver packages and OS images
Push OS updates to onprem and remote environment
System Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor client health and system performance
Generate compliance and deployment reports using reporting tools
Report end of life / end of support applications
Troubleshooting & Support
Resolve issues related to agents, clients
Work with team members to identify unresponsive workstations and force updates
Provide Tier 2/3 support for endpoint management issues
Infrastructure Management
Maintain and upgrade MEMC/SCCM infrastructure
Integrate with Active Directory, DNS, and other core services
Help delineate endpoint management services between MECM to Intune
Help transition scoped services to Intune
Qualification
Required
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum: Four (4) years' experience working within a Windows Server and an Active Directory environment, or a Cisco Systems networking infrastructure
Person must also have a minimum of one year experience working within at least two of the following disciplines; Windows Server Management, Server Virtualization, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, System Center Configuration Manager, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network Addressable Storage (NAS), and/or Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks
Industry Certifications attained from one or more primary technology vendors; e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Vmware, Citrix, EMC, IBM
One certification may be a credential from one or more industry credentialing vendors e.g. CompTia, etc
Preferred
Strong experience with MECM, PowerShell, Intune, WSUS
Strong understanding of Windows as an Operating System
Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Ability to converse with end users with patience and respect
Ability to document processes, after-action reports
Ability to train others
