Chief of Staff
PrincePerelson and Associates is an established securities broker-dealer transitioning from a B2C retail brokerage firm to a B2B outsourcing broker. They are seeking a highly organized and strategic Chief of Staff to support the CEO in managing the firm’s operational and organizational transition, ensuring effective execution of business priorities and enhancing cross-department communication.
Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing insight, analysis, and recommendations on both operational and strategic matters
Coordinate and monitor key firm-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory obligations
Oversee and continuously improve core business processes to ensure efficiency
Facilitate decision-making by gathering data, conducting analysis, and summarizing updated dashboard reports for the CEO
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements across departments
Oversee execution of special projects, including technology upgrades, trading platform enhancements, or market-structure initiatives
Support vendor management, contract review, and third-party service coordination
Act as a liaison between the CEO and department leaders, ensuring effective communication and accountability for established KPIs, metrics and deliverables
Manage weekly leadership meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-through
Promote a culture of transparency, support, discipline, and compliance throughout the organization
Coordinate with the Chief Operations Officer to ensure leadership awareness of operational issues, workflows, priorities, team roadblocks or internal inefficiencies
Ensure that operational procedures align with regulatory requirements and are properly documented
Support CEO in evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, or product offerings
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic decisions
Help prepare client presentations, firm marketing materials, and external communications
Assist with HR activities by partnering with external agencies administrating benefits and payroll activities, talent recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes for leadership-level roles
Support professional development initiatives, succession planning and maintain a positive organizational culture
Help manage internal communications and company-wide meetings or events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred but not required
5–10+ years of strategic leadership experience in business and/or financial services, preferably with broker-dealers, investment firms, or capital markets
Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and work cross-functionally
High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
Prior experience supporting executive leadership in a versatile and dynamic role
Familiarity with identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions that increase productivity, drive improvement and enhance customer experience
Experience with compliance workflows, project tracking, contracts, vendor relationships, facilities management and office services
