Store Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store
Create and execute various digital promotions and marketing campaigns
Maintain a detailed digital content calendar
Develop original content for day-to-day social media posts
Assist area stores with management of social medial content and individual store promotions
Work with marketing director and vendors to build local sponsorships and community programs
Assist in pre-event planning and day of event execution for various community and sponsorship related events
Compile summary of donation event totals, collect store funds and coordinate with charity organizations
Be available to represent Hy-Vee at local events, presentations and promotions
Have a working knowledge of the following programs and social media platforms: Outlook, Word, Excel, Facebook, and Twitter
Reports to work and works the scheduled amount of time
Provides media credits and charges to stores at inventory
Represents Hy-Vee at functions
Responsible for payments to renew memberships
Assists in other areas of store as needed
Performs other job related duties and special projects as required
Maintaining company standards, assigning work, planning the work of others, and coordinating activities

Ability to manage on-going deadlines
Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Facebook, and Twitter
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related area, or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with internet marketing and pay-per-click advertising
Ability to use logical or scientific thinking to solve problems
Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
Ability to report, write, or edit articles for publication
Ability to prepare deeds, leases, or mortgages
Ability to prepare and deliver lectures
Ability to interview, counsel or advise people
Ability to evaluate technical data
Ability to physically perform light work exerting a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
Ability to perform physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related area, or equivalent work experience preferred
