IT Operations Specialist ISSO

Responsibilities

Installs, configures, upgrades, and maintains end user computer systems and user access rights per corporate standards
Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems
Supports hardware and software components as required and can troubleshoot PCs, printers, copiers, switches and servers, and phones
Installs, configures, upgrades, and maintains end user computer and phone systems
Provides support and training for standard company software
Possesses technical knowledge and can administer a network operating system environment
Interfaces with IT management and other IT personnel for overall equipment standardization and hardware requirements
Performs weekly audits of in scope systems
Maintains monthly systems and malware updates for in scope systems
Performs quarterly security assessments of in scope systems
Interfaces with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
Performs other ISSO duties as directed by the Corporate ISSM
Supports the infrastructure team and assists with configurations and deployments

Required

Education: Associate's Degree
Experience Years: 3-7 years
Experience Type: Information Technology OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates/Licenses: Obtain secret level security clearance and will need to complete Risk Management Framework (RMF) training

Preferred

Education: Bachelor's Degree
CompTIA Security+
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees in the organization
Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations
Certifications: Security+
Holds secret level security clearance
Familiarity with or trained in Risk Management Framework related to classified systems
