Responsibilities

Manage a substantial caseload of family law matters from intake through final resolution

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements

Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials before the Circuit and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts

Provide strategic and compassionate counsel to clients throughout the litigation process

Collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior attorneys to ensure consistent, high-quality advocacy

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Active license to practice law in Virginia (required)

Minimum of 5–8 years of family law experience, including significant courtroom and trial experience

Proven ability to develop case strategies and deliver effective client advocacy

Leadership ability and interest in mentoring junior attorneys
