Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses
Analyze factual records and legal issues to assess claims and defenses
Take and defend depositions
Work directly with in-house counsel, experts, third-party administrators, and opposing counsel
Assist with trial and arbitration preparation, including:
Motions in limine
Jury instructions and trial briefs
Exhibits and witness preparation
Qualification
Required
3–7 years of litigation experience
Active admission to the California State Bar
Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Strong work ethic with a self-starter mindset
Collaborative, team-oriented approach
Preferred
Insurance, ERISA, or financial services experience
