5+ years expLHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Process Engineer to join an advanced manufacturing team. This role is critical to optimizing machining processes, improving production efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output across precision manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes, with a focus on Swiss Lathe operations
Program, set up, and troubleshoot Swiss-type CNC machines to ensure efficient and accurate production
Collaborate with design and production teams to evaluate manufacturability and improve part quality
Analyze machining performance and recommend process improvements to reduce cycle time and increase tool life
Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including setup sheets, tooling lists, and work instructions
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for machining-related issues
Support new product introductions and prototype development through process planning and validation
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC process engineering, specifically with Swiss Lathe machinery (e.g., Citizen, Star, Tsugami)
Proficiency in CNC programming (e.g., G-code, CAM software such as Mastercam or Esprit)
Strong understanding of precision machining, tooling, and materials
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred
