Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and administer complex network, wireless, and network security environments to support organizational needs

Evaluate and recommend improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability, optimizing for future growth and technological advancements

Identify and implement network automation opportunities to streamline operations and increase efficiency

Coordinate and execute network changes in compliance with established change management procedures to minimize disruptions

Develop and maintain comprehensive as-built documentation and network operations reports, ensuring accuracy and accessibility

Collaborate effectively with partners and vendors to deploy new infrastructure and provide operational support

Troubleshoot network issues and resolve support tickets promptly, coordinating with maintenance personnel as needed

Provide on-call support during off-hours, holidays, and weekends on a rotational basis to maintain continuous network availability

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with network infrastructure and systems

Minimum 3 years of experience managing and designing network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless, and network security in a medium to large network environment

Proven expertise with common networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.)

Experience configuring and supporting firewalls, as well as wireless and wired network installations

Demonstrated ability to use network monitoring and performance tools

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
