FUSE Executive Fellowship | Catalyzing Neighborhood-Based Youth Development and Reinvestment
FUSE is a national nonprofit focused on expanding social and economic opportunities for historically underinvested communities. The FUSE Executive Fellow will work with the City of Atlanta to enhance youth development initiatives, conducting analyses and fostering partnerships to ensure all young people have access to education, safe spaces, and career pathways.
Civic & Social Organization
Responsibilities
Conduct a landscape analysis and stakeholder listening tour to map programs and partnerships with deep community presence in Grove Park, FCS Communities, and other partner neighborhoods
Develop a strategic framework to align initiatives under the Mayor’s vision
Streamline grant and program management processes
Facilitate youth-led design and engagement processes
Bridge collaboration between city departments, place-based community foundations, nonprofits, and corporate partners
Produce a comprehensive coordination and implementation strategy document that enhances the city’s capacity to manage and evaluate its youth development initiatives
Developed a Strategic Coordination and Implementation Plan
Built Cross-Sector Partnerships and Engagement Structures
Strengthened Youth Economic Pathways
Designed a Standardized Grant and Program Management System
Produced a Neighborhood-Focused Youth Development Ecosystem Map
Developed a Sustainability and Institutionalization Framework
Qualification
Required
Experience in project management and strategic support
Strong understanding of youth development initiatives and community engagement
Ability to conduct landscape analysis and stakeholder listening tours
Experience in developing strategic frameworks and aligning initiatives
Proven ability to facilitate collaboration between city departments, community foundations, nonprofits, and corporate partners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to balance policy work with community presence
Experience in mapping programs and partnerships
Knowledge of grant and program management processes
Ability to produce comprehensive strategy documents and recommendations
Experience in developing sustainability plans for initiatives
Preferred
Familiarity with the Neighborhood Reinvestment Initiative
Experience working in historically underinvested neighborhoods
Knowledge of financial literacy and wealth-building programs
Experience with youth-led design initiatives
Understanding of racial equity and systemic change
