Legal Services

Responsibilities

Handle all phases of discovery, preparation of financial affidavits, scheduling of hearings and depositions, and trial preparation including organizing trial exhibits, preparing trial exhibit notebooks, and labeling exhibits using PDF applications
Maintain client files and be pro-active as it relates to case management
Conduct client interviews to gather important case details and provide updates on case progress to clients

Required

Five years or more of paralegal litigation experience (family law preferred)
Ability to handle all phases of discovery, preparation of financial affidavits, scheduling of hearings and depositions, and trial preparation including organizing trial exhibits, preparing trial exhibit notebooks, and labeling exhibits using PDF applications
Highly organized with ability to meet court deadlines, manage multiple cases, maintain client files and be pro-active as it relates to case management
Client-focused with compassionate interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct client interviews to gather important case details and provide updates on case progress to clients
Microsoft Office 365
Clio case management software or similar experience with other case management software
Basic skills using Excel, Microsoft Word and PDF software or similar program
