Principal People Partner

Responsibilities
Provide hands-on and strategic support to a globally dispersed colleague group focused on internal customer experience and partnership for one of our business units
Develop relationships as a trusted partner to provide insight and guidance on best practices that align with business objectives and goals
Help facilitate and execute programs to drive colleague experience and growth
Influence executive-level decisions that impact the organization across all levels
Identify training needs, evaluate development programs, and monitor and improve the productivity of employees across an organization
Apply compensation benchmarking and analytics when needed
Understand the business’s needs and challenges to form quality recommendations
Drive game-changing decisions at executive leadership levels and participate in creating a strategy for the entire People Partner team
Communicate effectively with peers, partners, and business leaders
Build relationships and provide the highest level of service and support to colleagues
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 8 years in HR roles, holding responsibilities relating to performance management, career development, and talent assessment
Ability to identify training needs, evaluate development programs, and monitor and improve the productivity of employees across an organization
Experience applying compensation benchmarking and analytics
Deep understanding of industry best practices
Advanced skills to lead and drive change in client groups by proactively anticipating future needs
Previous experience in Workday is beneficial
Ability to understand the business's needs and challenges
Ability to form quality, robust recommendations through knowledge acquisition, data sources, and existing processes
Ability to create scalable solutions that will help immediately and in the future
Ability to bring strategic insights and drive game-changing decisions at executive leadership levels
Ability to communicate confidently and deliberately
Ability to defend points of view and engage in lively debate
Expert relationship building and customer service skills
Genuine interest in building relationships with peers and business partners
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree is highly preferred
Willingness to travel about 10% for in-person strategy meetings
