Solution Architect - Insurtech

The Specialty Sales Solution Architect is responsible for architecting sales solutions that are winnable and deliverable, collaborating with various teams to ensure operational alignment and long-term client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Lead technical discovery to understand client environments, operational models, and specialty market nuances across carriers, MGAs, and wholesalers
Translate complex client needs into structured, scalable solution architectures aligned with Patra’s service frameworks
Maintain deep awareness of specialty market trends, operational challenges, and emerging technologies to inform solution strategy
Provide subject‑matter expertise during sales cycles, establishing credibility with internal teams and prospective clients
Guide cross‑functional teams through the solutioning process, ensuring alignment between Sales, Client Experience, Implementation, and Operations
Facilitate collaborative working sessions to validate feasibility, scope, and delivery requirements
Influence internal stakeholders by articulating solution rationale, risk considerations, and operational impacts
Contribute to internal enablement by developing reusable solution assets, frameworks, and best practices
Ensure solutions are winnable by contributing to the successful closure of Projected Annual Recurring Revenue (PARR)
Ensure solutions are deliverable through accurate PARR modeling, scope definition, and operational validation
Ensure solutions are impactful by supporting in‑year realization of PARR and maintaining economic integrity through post‑sale transition
Collaborate closely with Growth, Client Experience, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless solution development and transition
Participate in post‑sale activation to communicate solution design, client expectations, and defined scope to delivery teams
Support pipeline visibility by monitoring upcoming opportunities, prioritizing solutioning efforts, and forecasting resource needs
Provide structured technical input for RFP/RFI responses and contribute to competitive positioning
Share market and competitive insights with internal teams, serving as a voice of the specialty market to inform service strategy and differentiation
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre‑sales solutions consulting or a solutions architect role
Demonstrated expertise in specialty insurance markets, including familiarity with industry terminology, operational workflows, pain points, and enabling technologies
Proven experience designing complex solutions within a B2B professional services or financial services environment
Strong commercial acumen, including experience with RFP/RFI development, scope management, and financial modeling related to cost and profitability
Knowledge of Patra's service suite or comparable BPO/BPM/Insurtech services, including associated technical requirements
Direct, hands‑on background in insurance, Insurtech, or business process management prior to transitioning into pre‑sales
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences, including subject‑matter experts and executive leadership
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and balance sales objectives with delivery capabilities
