Senior Software Controls Project Engineer, Paint and Sealer

The Senior Software Controls Project Engineer will be responsible for leading engineering projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements while collaborating with customers to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements
Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality and timely implementation within the targeted cost
Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured, staged, tested, installed, and commissioned
Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects
Develop solutions related to controls with multiple PLC brands
Coordinate controls resources during installs
Develop GUIs and HMIs
Mainly supporting Robotics paint and sealer installs

Required

Bachelors' Degree, preferably in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, or related field)
You are highly skilled in and you enjoy working with highly technical projects in the robotics paint and sealer industry
You have 12+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, robotics, preferably supporting complex projects
Previous experience developing solutions in multiple PLC brands
You are qualified in / Highly adept in leading a diverse group of technical leads, including remote resources
You are innovative around delivering exceptionally executed projects on time and on budget
