Responsibilities
Responsible for the organization and implementation of these objectives for his/her program
Specific responsibilities may be delegated by the program director, but he/she is responsible to the GME Committee, the Designated Institutional Official (DIO), and to the ACGME Residency Review Committee for the timely and accurate completion of all tasks
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in administrative, educational and/or clinical services
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing a Residency Program
Support of post-graduate medical education program(s)
Master's Degree - M.D. or D.O. degree
Board qualified or certified
State of Nevada licensed physician
Membership in appropriate professional associations and societies
DEA = Drug Enforcement Administrator certificate
LIC CSL = Nevada State Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance license
CT CPRBLS = Basic Life Support CPR
Professional Liability Insurance CT INS
Mentoring experience
Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality regulations regarding all patient and company information
Preferred
Graduate medical education including residency training and requirements and ACGME requirements, applicable computer software, National Match requirements, and Medicare GME-related requirements
