Corporate Development Sr Associate - M&A

The Corporate Development Sr Associate will lead evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities, managing key workstreams in M&A transactions and supporting strategic planning efforts for the company’s growth initiatives.

Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and transaction structuring
Lead due diligence efforts, coordinating cross-functional teams and external advisors
Evaluate acquisition targets, market trends, and regulatory considerations
Present strategic recommendations to senior executives
Support post-merger integration efforts to maximize deal synergies
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's - Finance, Economics or Related Field
Experience: 5-7 years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development in the energy/utilities industry OR 4+ years with advanced degree
Proven track record of leading transactions and strategic initiatives
Expertise in M&A execution, strategic analysis, and regulatory considerations
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Preferred
Master's - Business Administration
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
