Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access
Screen individuals entering the facility by following established protocols for identification and authorization
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter prohibited items from entering the logistics and distribution location
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters
Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities and incidents as required by site procedures
Qualification
Required
Be at least 21 years of age
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred
