Alliance/Customer Success Director (AI & Drug Discovery)
Metric Bio is a highly innovative Discovery Biotech seeking an Alliance Manager/Customer Success Director to forge and strengthen partnerships with their current client portfolio. The role involves managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and acting as the primary commercial interface for customers.
Responsibilities
Own key account and alliance management for existing pharma/biotech partners
Drive revenue growth from the current customer base, including renewals and expansions
Act as the primary commercial interface for customers, coordinating closely with internal PM and operations teams
Translate customer needs into tailored proposals, managing negotiations and contracts (CDAs, MSAs, amendments)
Co-develop and execute scalable Customer Success processes in collaboration with international counterparts
Qualification
Required
MSc or PhD in a life sciences discipline (chemistry preferred but not required)
Additional training in business, sales, or commercial disciplines
Strong knowledge of pharma discovery/development and CRO business models
6–7+ years' experience in customer success, alliance management, or client-facing BD roles
Proven experience managing strategic accounts and long-term customer relationships
Preferred
Candidates across the East Coast (especially MA) will be preferred - Bay Area (CA) is also desirable
