Responsibilities
Assist with: Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner
Assist with: Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure proper coding
Assist with: Verify and process invoices related to inventory
Assist with: Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively
Assist with: Monitor accounts payable email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly
Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets
Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms
Organize and file invoices, payments, and supporting documentation for audit purposes
Assist with month-end reconciliation processes
Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
6 months to two years of experience as an accounting clerk or accounts payable roles
Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams professionally
Background check required
Preferred
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
Manufacturing industry experience is a plus but not required
Proficiency in accounting software and systems; experience with NetSuite or ERP systems is preferred
