Accurately process and input patient records, surgical procedure data, billing information, and departmental forms
Review, verify, and validate incoming data for completeness and accuracy
Identify and correct discrepancies through communication with clinical, scheduling, and billing teams
Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and electronic record systems with high attention to detail
Ensure data integrity through routine quality control checks and documentation validation
Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA and internal security standards
Participate in remote workflow meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews as needed
Stay organized and maintain consistent daily productivity, whether working onsite or in a remote environment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
1+ year of experience in data entry, data processing, clerical support, or administrative roles
Strong typing and data accuracy skills (high attention to detail is essential)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic data management tools
Ability to work independently in a remote environment or collaboratively onsite
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with medical or healthcare records is a plus but not required
Preferred
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems or healthcare documentation
Ability to handle sensitive patient data with discretion
Strong multitasking and time-management skills for both onsite and remote workflows
