Responsibilities
Develop and execute the O&M strategy to optimize asset performance and lifecycle management
Lead and manage the O&M team, including field technicians, engineers, and support staff
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure continuous improvement in operations
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure maximum system uptime
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
Implement advanced monitoring systems and predictive maintenance techniques to improve asset reliability
Develop maintenance schedules and protocols for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Manage O&M budgets, including cost forecasting, expenditure control, and financial reporting
Oversee vendor and subcontractor relationships, negotiating contracts to ensure quality and cost efficiency
Ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are met and identify opportunities for cost savings
Analyze performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
Implement technology upgrades and innovative solutions to enhance solar plant performance
Collaborate with asset management and engineering teams to optimize operational processes
Ensure all solar assets comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements
Develop and enforce risk management strategies to minimize operational disruptions
Lead root cause analysis for system failures and develop corrective action plans
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of experience in O&M for utility-scale solar projects or related energy sectors
Proven leadership experience managing large teams and multi-site operations
Strong knowledge of solar technology, SCADA systems, and performance monitoring tools
Expertise in contract management, financial planning, and risk mitigation
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field
