Meaningful Day Program Manager

Responsibilities
Provide direct oversight and supervision of the Day Habilitation Supervisor and CDS Supervisor, ensuring accountability, performance management, and compliance with program standards
Recruit, hire, train, assign, supervise, counsel, discipline, and evaluate staff across all Meaningful Day Services, including Vocational Services, Day Habilitation, Community Development Services, Employment Services, and Career Exploration
Effectively supervise and manage the duties and performance of all Day Program supervisory staff
Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures for Meaningful Day Services
Ensure program compliance with the Community Pathways Waiver, OHCQ requirements, and all applicable state and federal regulations
Facilitate routine compliance reviews and quality improvement initiatives to address identified issues
Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of program offerings and complete quarterly reports outlining program data, outcomes, and improvement strategies
Monitor facilities to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements
Develop, enforce, and regularly review safety procedures, emergency plans, and equipment maintenance protocols
Ensure all safety procedures are followed consistently by staff and participants
Lead the planning and implementation of Community Development Services, promoting community integration through networking and site visits
Act as the primary spokesperson for the Meaningful Day Program, promoting services through outreach, public relations efforts, and community engagement
Oversee staff scheduling to ensure programs operate within required staffing ratios and approved budgets
Ensure the program operates within budgetary constraints
Develop the annual personnel budget and assist in preparing the overall program budget
Monitor financial performance and recommend adjustments as needed
Oversee the facilitation and implementation of individuals’ Person-Centered Plans and Behavior Plans
Collaborate with the Program Services Coordinator and interdisciplinary team to ensure individuals’ clinical and service delivery needs are met
Ensure jobs, classes, and activities are delivered as scheduled
Oversee documentation systems to ensure accurate completion of demographic, contact, emergency, attendance, and supplemental funding records
Monitor and analyze attendance data and address attendance-related issues
Facilitate intake and orientation processes for individuals entering services and their families or caregivers
Serve as a liaison with transition coordinators, other providers, and families to support program growth and continuity of services
Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations and organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with four (4) years of experience or seven (7) years' experience gained through increasingly responsible supervisory positions preferred in Human Services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Demonstrated success and comfort in working in a very fast-paced environment and ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines
Ability to interact and effectively communicate courteously and tactfully with managers, co-workers, participants, vendors, and stakeholders
3-5 years of supervisory experience
3-5 years of experience working with adults with disabilities
Experience working with developmentally disabled adults
Must be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)
Attention to detail with strong multitasking abilities
Commitment to safety
Effective time management and organizational skills
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Certified Medication Technician (In-house training available)
Completion of all required DDA training, including MANDT
No lifting restrictions
Valid State-issued Driver's License (Maryland)
Must complete a successful drug test and criminal background check
Ability to work independently using excellent judgment, demonstrated clinical skills, and ability to handle sensitive medical matters in an appropriate manner
Must have a current PPD
Must have all state-required training
Expected to travel to sponsored residential sites and other outside community settings
Preferred
Master's degree highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in health or human services preferred or 5-7 years or related work experience
