Responsibilities
Support, maintain, and enhance data engineering platforms and analytics infrastructure
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
Build and maintain automation pipelines using Azure DevOps
Develop and support data processing solutions using Python and PySpark
Provide platform support for data engineering personas , ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and platform teams to resolve issues and optimize analytics environments
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform stability and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
10+ years of overall IT experience
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Strong hands-on experience with Python / PySpark
Proven experience supporting analytics and data platforms, including Databricks
Proven experience supporting analytics and data platforms, including Azure Synapse
Proven experience supporting analytics and data platforms, including Snowflake
Experience supporting or operating data engineering platforms in production environments
Strong troubleshooting, automation, and platform support skills
Preferred
Databricks certification or formal accreditation
Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments
Prior platform engineering or data platform operations experience
