Responsibilities
Partner with internal Project Managers to assess current QA and testing practices during a structured discovery phase
Evaluate existing manual and automated testing frameworks, tools, and processes
Assess automation maturity and identify opportunities to improve speed, accuracy, and coverage
Lead assessment of AI-assisted testing and automation capabilities, including no-code / low-code solutions
Provide recommendations for transitioning from hands-on scripting-based testing (e.g., Selenium) to modern, scalable QA platforms
Identify quality risks, compliance considerations, and governance gaps in regulated environments
Define future-state QA strategies, tooling recommendations, and operating models
Document findings and present clear, actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience as a Senior QA /Quality Engineer with a strong background financial services (experience navigating in regulated environments is a big plus)
Strong background operating in highly regulated environments with audit, risk, and compliance requirements
Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and modern QA tools
Demonstrated experience implementing or advising on AI-assisted testing and no-code / low-code test automation platforms
Strong understanding of QA governance, controls, and compliance in regulated systems
Excellent communication and written skills to aide in documenting test results for audits/exams, reporting trends, and communicating issues and risks clearly to business, risk, and IT stakeholders
Proven ability to move organizations from manual or script-heavy testing models to modern, scalable QA approaches
