InternParkview Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Center Operations Intern to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role will be the maintenance, repair, and installation of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems across all hospitals and buildings in their network.

Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and battery replacements on UPS systems across multiple facilities in our network
Oversee the installation of new UPS systems and upgrades to existing systems across the network
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for UPS system failures, power outages, or performance issues
Regularly monitor UPS system performance using remote monitoring tools and report on system health
Work closely with the broader Data Center Operations team, IT departments, and facility management to ensure continuity of power to mission-critical systems
Maintain accurate documentation of all UPS systems, including technical manuals, service logs, and compliance records
Stay updated on UPS technology advancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes
Qualification
Required
Strong technical expertise in power systems, specifically UPS systems
Hands-on technical skills
Proactive problem-solving skills
Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and battery replacements on UPS systems
Ability to oversee the installation of new UPS systems and upgrades
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for UPS system failures, power outages, or performance issues
Regularly monitor UPS system performance using remote monitoring tools
Develop and maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and performance metrics for all UPS systems
Collaborate with the Data Center Operations team, IT departments, and facility management
Maintain accurate documentation of all UPS systems, including technical manuals, service logs, and compliance records
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and industry best practices
Stay updated on UPS technology advancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes
Provide training and knowledge sharing to team members and other staff on UPS system operation and best practices
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, stand, kneel, and perform technical work in confined or challenging environments
Must be a current high school student, undergraduate college student or graduate college student
Preferred
A specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship
