Neptune Medical is an innovative, venture capital funded medical device startup headquartered in Burlingame, CA. They are seeking a highly motivated undergraduate or master’s student for a Project Management Co-Op role supporting their Robotics R&D organization, providing hands-on exposure to the development of a complex medical robotic system. The co-op will help drive projects forward, improve visibility into schedules and risks, and support execution across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

Support project planning, scheduling, and execution for robotics R&D and product development programs
Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks across cross-functional teams
Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, dashboards, and status reports
Facilitate team meetings, design reviews, and action-item tracking
Coordinate communication between engineering, quality and manufacturing
Support leadership with data gathering, analysis, and presentation preparation
Work well both independently and as part of a fast-moving, collaborative team

Qualification

Required

Current undergraduate or master's student in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Interest in project management within a technical or robotics environment
Comfortable working with technical teams and learning complex systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated interest in medical devices, robotics, or startup environments

Preferred

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar) is a plus
