PrePress Supervisor
Exploring Graphics, a division of Exploring, Inc., is seeking a PrePress Supervisor to oversee the prepress department and ensure high-quality print production. The role involves managing the prepress team, optimizing workflows, and maintaining quality control standards while collaborating with designers and production staff.

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the prepress team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Oversee the preparation of files for digital and large-format printing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Manage and troubleshoot prepress software and equipment, including RIP software, color calibration tools, and proofing devices
Ensure proper color management and consistency across all print jobs
Maintain quality control standards, reviewing files for errors before they reach production
Collaborate with the design and production teams to optimize workflows and ensure seamless file handoffs
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance department efficiency and output
Implement and maintain prepress procedures to improve efficiency and reduce errors
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment maintenance and supply orders
Enforce safety and compliance regulations within the prepress department
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in prepress operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Fiery RIP, and other prepress-related software
Strong knowledge of digital and large-format printing processes
Experience in color calibration and ICC profiling
High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Graphic Arts, Printing Technology, or a related field is preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime, as needed
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
